Real-Time Control for Security Operations
Running CCTV & alarm installation means handling site surveys, camera layouts (fixed/PTZ/varifocal), cable runs in risers and conduits, panel/keypad installs, sensor placement (PIR, glassbreak, reed, shock), networking (VLANs, PoE budgets, IP plans), commissioning, handover, and follow-on service calls — often across retail chains, offices, schools, warehouses, and data rooms with strict access windows. Crews juggle ladder/permit requirements, badges/keys, method statements, and as-built updates while coordinating with IT, GC, and facilities.
Teams need live visibility of who’s on-site, which rooms/areas are in scope today, what tasks are sequenced (mount → pull → terminate → label → test → aim → record), which parts are issued (NVRs, cameras, sensors, UPS, cabling, connectors), and where work is slipping. They also need clean change control (device swaps, lens changes, cable reroutes), quick warranty lookups (serial/MAC), and a single place to store photos, redlines, and acceptance forms. Missed access windows, mislabeled drops, or incomplete punch items cost time and reputation.
