Shift Statuses

When the “Attendance” module is enabled, your employees must start and end their shifts using a button in the mobile app and/or web version (this option is configured in the “Attendance” module settings).

Each shift whose time has already started or ended will have its own status depending on the selected settings.

Types of statuses:

Absence
A grey bar next to a shift means the employee was absent — they didn’t press the “Start Shift” or “End Shift” button.

If you click on this shift, you’ll see the status and be able to change it.

Late Arrival
When the option “Record lateness time” is enabled in the “Attendance” module settings,
an orange bar next to the shift indicates that the employee was late — and this lateness was set manually.

If you click on the shift, you can adjust the lateness (remove it or change the number of hours/minutes).

Shift Started
A yellow bar next to a shift means the employee pressed the “Start Shift” button.

Shift Active
A green bar next to a shift means the employee pressed the “Start Shift” button.

Multiple bars on a shift

If both a yellow and orange bar appear — it means the “Record lateness time” option is enabled, the shift has already started, but the employee hasn’t yet pressed the “Start Shift” button.

If both a green and orange bar appear — it means the employee has pressed “Start Shift”, but did so later than the scheduled start time — in other words, the shift was started, but the employee was late.
